"Gone With the Wind" - Anthony Bourdain (prototype)

Inquire HERE

  • 60” x 48” (H x W)

  • canvas, charcoal, lacquer, oil paint on wood board

Is it wind, strings, or fan? - Nope

Watch the video to see the portrait come to life with movement. Bourdain’s portrait is made of various flaps of material that individually flutter up and down. We are not revealing what makes the canvas move just yet as we are still tinkering with this artwork.

Anthony Bourdain is one of the few people who Andrew truly looks up to. With the 4-year anniversary of Bourdain's death approaching in June, Andrew wanted to create something very special in his memory. “Gone With The Wind” is a dynamic piece that pays tribute to Bourdain’s “on the move” persona while also referencing his all-too-fleeting life itself.
